On to the next Stage

My youngest turned 3 this weekend. It seems like just yesterday she was a warm little bundle in my arms, and today she is playing dress-up with her cousin - their plastic heels clicking on the floors as they run around (she is the princess in pink).  I thought it would be hard to leave the baby years behind, but I love this new stage so much.  And, I am blessed with many good memories to sustain me when I am missing the days gone by.

Although...I am counting on new little nieces and nephews joining our flock, because there might be moments in the future when I will need to "borrow" a newborn.

Is it weird that a 3 year old can walk in heels better than I can?

OK, that is absolutely DARLING!!!
What darling princesses in their clicky plastic shoes!
Awesome!

Sheesh, my GRANDDAUGHTER will be 3 this month.

I guess my generation gap is showing.

Extremely cute, love their little dresses, so girly, which is one thing I miss in a house full of men!

A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E! Love those little "click click click" sounds on the kitchen floor. Don't worry, Anna is better in heels than I am, too. Even in MY heels she's better. :) Such a cutie pie girl you have. All your kids are gorgeous.

Don't feel bad about the heels. my 1 1/2 year old does better then me, when she finds her sisters dress up shoes.

Cute pictures of your little darling and niece! I know what you are feeling about your little one growing up. I feel the same way! Yes, my daughter walks much better in heels then me!

Your quilt is beautiful. I'm sure your parents love it!

Hope you get feeling better soon!
Have a great Sunday!
