This is a little bit of a stretch, but I think maybe, JUST MAYBE, it might have worked.
We had a pair of cute, and very comfy Pediped toddler shoes, but they were starting to look like they had seen better days. OK, they were looking pretty hammered...
BUT, how to polish these up and restore them to their former glory was eluding me. Then I had a lightbulb moment...the kind of lightbulb moment only a spray paint addict could have.
If Julia Roberts can polish up a pair of slinky, black boots with a Sharpie, then why not?
So far, so good. I'll let you know how they hold up.

Great idea! Thank you!
Have a great week! I'm thinking about doing the same thing to a pair of sandals that belong to my little darling!
you did not. so cute! but let us know if you can't scrub the black off her sticky little baby toes.
Very smart idea!!
LOVE IT! Such cute little legs!
This is very funny! I hope you used indoor/ outdoor spray paint!! Was there a reason you chose spray paint over leather shoe polish? I've never considered that use for my BFF.
