Into the wild blue
Set me free oh I pray
Closer to heaven above and
Closer to you
Closer to you
My husband was a HUGE Lone Ranger fan when he was growing up. He was obsessed the same way our little guy was obsessed with Disney's Cars.
A few years ago his mom came across his little collection of Lone Ranger action heroes from the 70's and passed them on to us. For a while they were mixed in with the chaos that is our toy room. Then one day I hunted them down and rescued them, deciding they deserved a little protection and respect for the history they represent. Besides, they are pretty cute, don't you think? And recognizably human, which is more than I can say about most of the boys' toys you see at the store these days. Now I keep them tucked away in my sewing room.

But things are back to normal at last - YeeHaw!
Now I can't seem to get summer/travel plans off my brain. Enough with the cabin fever already - this mama is ready to hit the trail (remember...I suffer from chronic wanderlust).
Hi Ho Silver!
We are thrilled the insane work hours are in the past!
ReplyDeleteI love that Ruth found these guys. They bring back fun memories!
I am happy you got your cowboy back! Can't wait to see pictures from your spring/summer adventures.
